K12 Issues

k12 is a universal curriculum.. which means, our country really needs to adapt the curriculum for us to become more competitive when it comes work abroad.. hehe xD

Nang una ko po itong marining against ako dahil dagdag na naman ng ilang taon sa pag -aaral.But after I understand the idea of K-12, I think its a good Idea for the student to be ready before entering college. So I agree for K-12

K-12. Isang mahabang pag-aaral na walang kasiguraduhang magiging epektibo pagdating ng panahon.
Yan ang tumatakbo sa isip ko tuwing maririnig ko ang K12. Maganda sana ang dulot ng K12, dahil nakita naman natin kung gaano ito kaepektibo sa ibang bansa. Pero ibang bansa yun, Pilipinas to. Sa tingin ko matagal pa bago maging matagumpay ang K12 sa Pilipinas. Dahil alam naman natin na kulang na kulang sa Pondo ang gobyerno, dahil sa dami ng mga gahamang nakikihati sa pera ng bayan.

the first thing pop in my mind when I hear k12 is that there is no out of school youth and no unemployment graduates, because k12 is more on focus on vocational and training to prepare for the jobs here and abroad )

kung titingnan naman po, may positive side naman yung k to 12.Mas napagtutuunan yung pagaaral ng mga kabataan at mas lalo silang nahahasa. pero meron ding mga negative na maaaring idudulot nito, tulad na nga nung mga gastos sa school like projects etc. . hindi naman po kasi lahat ng estudyante makakaafford sa mga maramihang gastusan.

another good thing about k to 12 program is that, even though they will not go to college, they can get a job already if they are a k to 12 graduate.

Sa mga panahon nato. Mas gugustuhin ko pong mag K-12. Kahit na may dalawang taong dagdag. Kung hindi po siguro ako nagcollege siguradong K-12 ang bagsak ko.

Are they professional enough after they graduated? Just askin.

Para sa akin. Parehas silang may advantages at disadvantages.

Tama ka. Mismong iskwelahan ko nung highschool wal pading K-12 program. Pano kung wala pa sila K-12 program? Lilipat ba ang kapatid ko ng school para lang tapusin ang senior high?

Ang maganda sa K-12 mas magiging advance sila sa piangaralan nila. Yung iabng school ready na sila. Pero yung iba namn hindi. Kaya dapat pagarlan muna ng maigi ang Program bago simulan.

At dun sa 1 is to 1 ratio daw sa mga upuan at libre. Sigurado ba sila dun? Yung ibang upuan nga di nila maayos. Magdagdag pa kaya.

When I first heard about K12, I thought of it as "adding another 2 years and it pains not only my parent's wallet but also my sanity for it is toooo long" . But then, when you look at it in the brighter side, it has its advantages. Students would get better in technical skills which are very useful for future purposes. But when it has its advantages it also has its disadvantages like time and money. And as I what I've heard some schools are not still prepared for K12. Though K12 is good, I think our government should still give time to schools, students, parents and specially the teachers to prepare well for the K12.

Hello hachigatsu_san! Though that it is true, whether the parents like it or not our government would still push for it. ^^' Don't worry, it's still in the beginning. Why not give it a try, right? Instead of wasting time on worrying on the disadvantages, let them see the brighter side of it. Peace! X'D

When I heard K12 program.. it is the adding of two years in school and I think that it will have a great result because they are studying advance in college, they give some information about the courses .. that's all Oraaaayt !!

The first thing that pop in my mind is simply adding 2 years in Grade school.

yes,,. May advantages and disadvantages din nmn.. but we cannot deny the fact na makakatulong ito sa mga nag-aaral, especially nagiging advance na sila sa pag-aaral kahit d pa tumutuntong ng college and after they graduate nasa legal age na sila to work and there are jobs that fits to them..

Why does my child need to go to a K to 12-ready School?

Completing 12 years of Basic Education is the the global standard for decades now and the Philippines is the only country in Asia and among the three remaining countries in the world that has a 10-year basic education cycle. K to 12 is necessary because it will:
improve kindergartners’ readiness for primary grades;
decongest the country’s 10-year curriculum cycle;
equip high school students for college/university education and prepare them for the world of work after graduation; and
give Filipino professionals better recognition internationally
