ung unang pumapasok sa utak ko pag naririnig ko ung k12 ay dagdag na dalawang taon sa high school. hindi naman sa hindi ako pabor pero parang di naman praktikal ung dagdag na 2 taon. pero para san ba talaga un? hanggang ngayon kasi di ko siya maintindihan kung para saan siya.

: !! kasi kahit d kana makapag college makakahanap k ng better job! kaso nga lng tulad nga ng mga nasabe ng ating mga kababayan d p tlga handa ang pilipinas sa k12 kaya kawawa ang mga first batch ng k12 ! :cry kasi kung hindi magiging successful ang k12 ntin sayang ung dalawang taon nila!!

I think K-12 is good for our country's quality of education but our government is not ready for it , especially the facilities and teachers for the curriculum.

the first thing pop in my mind when i hear k12 is specialization. students graduated from a k12 curriculum, have their own area of specialization. so when they go to college, they have a background to their course Smile

First Word that Pop in my mind ? Is the word ADVANTAGE . Because K-12 can help our economy to grow and to improve. It can provide as more knowledge and more skills that can make our economy turn into developed country . So that all Filipinoes can be proud for what nationality they are. Smile

Why is the K to 12 program better than the current program?

How will teachers be prepared for the K to 12 program?

What will happen to colleges and universities during the 2-year transition period (SY 2016-2017 and SY 2017-2018)?

How will Goverment be prepared for the K to 12 program?

ok lng nmn yang K-12 na yan ii kasi mapapabilis yung pag aaral at pag kakakuha ng trabaho mo kaso nga lng dpat hindi lng skills dapat pati ung pagiging professional mapractice mo.. pero nasa knila na un kung gusto pang i push ng college xD..

the good side in this program, is that its an advance curriculum for the students for future purposes. Smile

but lets say, not all the teachers are prepared for this kind of curriculum.

I'm against in this program of government although this is for the development of our country but for those who cannot afford those projects etc.

Dati naisip ko na ang boring ng k-12 kasi ang haba ng igu-gugol mo sa highschool, tsaka dag-dag gastos para sa mga magulang natin, sinasabi ko pa nga sa kapatid ko na ang malas nya kasi naabutan sya eh:) pero naisip ko na ok din naman pala siya kasi advantage ito ng mga studyanteng hindi kayang maka pag-aral ng kolehiyo. Pero thankful talaga ako na hindi ko ito naabutan

MARAMING advantage and marami ding dis advantage ang k-12 but im not agree with that law.. why???? because the philippines is not ready to adapted the k-12. maraming kulang . maraming hindi p handa sa k-12

I agree with B@D here. Though hachigatsu_san's comment is right, there are lots of ways for those children to study. They could be a part of 4P's or scholarship grants from private sectors.

but lets say, not all the teachers are prepared for this kind of curriculum.

That's why they should give the teachers more time to prepare. But, if they won't do it now, then when? Isn't it fantastic if they start now? If I were given a chance again, I would definitely study another 2 years.

WHAT IS THE FIRST THING POP IN YOUR MIND WHEN YOU HEAR K12? WHY?

The first thing that pops in my mind when I hear K12 is Additional year of education. Meaning it is in need of more teachers and educational equipment in order to facilitate learning. It is a great opportunity for future educators. However, it would be better to first solve the lack of educational facilities rather than to experiment on something that do not have an assurance if it has a positive effect.

your question is good.
first, K to 12 program is better than the old curriculum because it will add two more year that will develop the students skills and knowledge. then, the government conduct training for the teacher for them to gain knowledge about the new curriculum. last the some university conduct new programs for their school curriculum.

hindi namn siguro. bakit pa ngpatayo ng school kung di namn pinapahalagahan ang mga estudyante?
sinasabi nio lang na mahirap kasi di nio pa nasusubukan. taon lang namn ang nadagdag hindi kung ano pa man.

pero when i have a knowledge about K12, i suddenly realized that i should agree to this program po kasi yung mga nasa public schools na students at yung hindi po makakaya na makapg enrol sa mga Universities, may chance po sila na makapag aral at depende pa po yung 2 years na yun sa gusto nila in the future.
And halos lahat naman po kasi ng bansa sa South-east asia, 6 years sa secondary, kaya parang nalelate na po yung educational level natin sa iba..
According to our Social Studies Teacher when we are in 3rd year high school, tama naman po yun para makasabay yung pilipinas sa curriculum ng iba at para hindi naman po maiwan ang pilipinas pagdating sa Education..

tama kung di namn tayo sasabay sa iba mahuhuli ung country natin and di namn ito tungkol sa issues na nakikiuso lang tayo. kung di tayo mag-uumpisa now, when? diba?
